Skills Plus Nations

The organisations which make up the SkillsPlus UK strategic skills partnership are dedicated to ensuring that skills and qualifications developed by the network of Sector Skills Councils reflect not only the needs of the UK economy but also reflect, and are relevant, to the particular skills needs and policy drivers in local government.

SkillsPlus is working in and with each of the nations to try to ensure that the varying contexts, legislative frameworks and circumstances influencing local government and local authorities in England, Wales, Northern Ireland and Scotland are recognised in the development of standards, qualifications, learning and support materials and delivery.
